When Overspray Removal is Needed

Overspray removal may be necessary if your car has been sprayed with particles that hit more than their intended target. Overspray can cause damage to your paint job and can be expensive to repair. For these reasons it is important to handle the car paint repair as quickly as possible.

Depending on the size of the job, overspray removal can be time consuming and costly. But it doesn't have to be. You can reduce the damage by acting quickly. Also, by documenting the accident, you can sometimes be reimbursed by insurance companies for overspray removal.

Overspray can happen for a variety of reasons. Highway and industrial paint can drift from nearby work zones. Industrial fallout and chemical emissions can come from nearby plants. Cement, dust, salt and lime can cause damaging deposits on your paint job. Also, oil and tar materials from roads and highways can cause overspray damage to your car.

When paint particles or other foreign materials land out your car, they can cause damage to the appearance. Some materials can cause paint degradation and eventually end up causing a lot more than paint damage. Even common tree sap and bird droppings can do extensive damage to your car exterior by eating away at the paint and eventually causing rust build up.
